ADJUSTING SCREEN RESOLUTION If you find that windows and text on the CHS Remote server are too small, adjusting your screen resolution may help. In general, the lower the screen resolution numbers, the larger will be the size of icons and fonts on the screen. PERFORM THE FOLLOWING SETUP Before connecting, click the Options button, Display tab. - Set "Remote desktop size" to "More" (Full Screen). - Set "Display the connection bar when in full screen" mode to "ON" (checked) ADJUST SCREEN RESOLUTION - If logged-in, logoff from CHS (Click the "Logoff from Remote Server" button.) - Set the screen resolution on your own pc according to the instructions below. - Log back into CHS (The screen resolution in Remote Desktop should have changed accordingly.) - For best results, please ensure that you are using Remote Desktop in Full Screen mode (i.e. maximized), not in a window. To change the screen resolution in Windows, right click on the Desktop and select Properties (for Windows XP) or Customize (for Windows Vista). Locate and set the screen resolution. (eg: 800 x 600, 1024 x 768, etc). In general, the lower the screen resolution numbers, the larger will be the size of icons and fonts on the screen. WINDOWS VISTA AND WINDOWS 7 Before connecting, click Options and make sure that "Always Ask For Credentials" is checked. You will always get the window titled "Enter Your Credentials" that allows you to "Use Another Account". When you use another account, it remembers the last one you used. MACINTOSH REMOTE DESKTOP CONNECTION MacIntosh Users: Make sure to get version 2.0.1 or higher of Remote Desktop Connection.
